Founded in Marseille in 2020, SOLNIL is a DeepTech company born out of a clear ambition: to take optical innovations out of the laboratory and bring them to market. Led by a trio of experts, Badre Kerzabi, Marco Abbarchi and David Grosso, the company draws on dual expertise in nano-printing and sol-gel materials.
SOLNIL’s identity is based on this close link between academic rigour and industrial pragmatism. Rather than remaining at the prototype stage, the team develops concrete solutions for advanced optics, in particular thin films with high contrast indices (high and low refractive indices). The strength of their approach? Offering high-performance materials that remain compatible with simple liquid deposition processes, thus facilitating their integration by major contractors.
Today, SOLNIL does more than just supply components; it provides a trusted interface between cutting-edge research and the most demanding technological environments.
